Preparing For Holidays

Our store has already started planning for the holiday season. Because I’m in charge of supplies, I’ve decided that we would like to provide our customers with gift wrapping options for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’ve been very happy with our supplier, Box and Wrap. Therefore, last week I placed an order for Halloween bags. These are an ideal size for bottles of wine. Unfortunately, our supplier does not have any Thanksgiving-themed packaging, so I’ve decided to buy fall colored boxes and bags. I also will be selling appetizers soon, and I will buy bags for the food as well. Luckily, the supplier has an abundant supply of December packaging. I placed a large order for Christmas gift bags. These are ideal for the holidays, and I can’t wait to begin selling them. It will be interesting to see our success in our first holiday season.

Awesome Wish List

Every so often, I create a wish list of the items that I would like to buy for myself. This way, I have a whole list of things to work towards, and I do not spend my money on smaller things. Right now, I would like one of those cool driving games from arcade games Ashville. These are incredibly fun, and they would make for a fun activity at parties. In addition, I would really like some video games Ashville. I thoroughly enjoy competing with friends in video games, and I want a set for my house.

Exterior Portions

After six months of running our wine shop, we finally got sick of the salmon colored exterior paint of the store. My business partner, Shelley, said she would find some time to locate a painting company to take care of the work. She called to ask advice from several members of the chamber of commerce, and they all recommended the same company: CertaPro. This is a commercial painting Atlanta business that guarantees satisfied customers.

Shelley called CertaPro, and officials said they were more than willing to come out the next day to provide us with an assessment of the situation. The representatives arrived on time to our shop, and they were very helpful. They even assisted us in selecting a new color for the exterior of the store! We’ve made an appointment for next Sunday, and the commercial painting Alpharetta will commence then! We are so pumped to remove the old paint and replace it with a new color.

One woman and I recently began our first business. We are running a wine store in the downtown Seattle area. It’s a fun shop with interesting activities. I host wine classes and tastings. We also have a party room that can be rented for celebrations. It’s been fun to connect with other people through something we all love — wine.

My business partner and I have divided up the responsibilities for our store. She is in charge of selecting the wines and renting the party room. Due to my experiences with human resources, I am responsible for hiring employees and purchasing supplies. My partner has done a wonderful job with the wine selection. I’ve been working hard to find the best quality wholesale wine boxes. These are used for the higher quality wines and for the bottles that will be given as gifts. Other items I enjoy purchasing are wholesale wine bags. We use these exclusively for presents. Our policy is to gift wrap any item a customer requests. All of these items have received positive reactions from our customers, so my partner and I have been pleased. We were also happy to find wholesale shopping bags, a necessary supply for our store. Locating supplies has been such a positive portion of my job. I only wish hiring and training employees was so easy!
